Who would not be actually?

So I turned up to the opening last night thinking:” Great! I’m going to meet Régine, Massimo Gargia, Michel Drucker, Gilbert Montagné and many others french TV freaks!” Unfortunately that did not happen.

However, I was pleased to discover Arnaud’s work, especially his typographic paintings and also his screenprints representing rounded sports grounds (in collaboration with CHIPS from Rennes).

Many many thanks to Game and Performance and well done to Arnaud.

It is almost inevitable to visit Hamburg without passing by his pieces and tags. He is a one of a kind concerning style, quantity and doing his thing no matter what.
Although he has been put behind bars for graff for about 8 years already he has been sentenced again in 19 cases to 14 months of prison at first instance in September 2011. His lawyers have appealed against this judgment.
It is a shame putting someone in jail for graffiti at all – but locking someone up for years just because he is painting his marks in the streets is a crime itself. FREE OZ!

He spent 4 months on his own, travelling around, meeting new people, exploring the country and its fascinating culture.

From Kathmandu to tiny villages lost in high mountains Frida had always his drawing book with him, almost constantly sketching, sometimes in rough conditions.Compiling local images from amazing panoramic views but also adverts, signs… he worked out new ways of elaborating his paintings. He took it as life experience, a time off to think about his art and to go beyond graffiti conventions.

Back to France he decided to publish a book about his nepali experience, an original and very creative object mixing photos, drawings, texts and GRAFFITI…

Hello! I am Shlomo.

My first post is there to introduce my part on this blog.
For over 10 years i travel around Europe to paint trains and to take pictures of the painted trains. I love painted trains. If it s a typical lettering or new styled art work. It does not matter.I love trains painted.
I love the atmosphere of stations. People running around. Going to work in the morning. People starving on the platform waiting for the next steel monster. Workers catching the last train home.

And i love the YARDS. No man’s land. Only trains and you. And SECURITY !!!!!!!!
