Here are the 1st photos of the 4th edition of the Black Circle Festival 2013. It took place in a village named Sheshory (Ivano-Frankivsk region). Just like the previous edition, the artists stayed a couple of days in Ukrainian countryside to paint on abandoned buildings. They live in tents, eat together and there is no sponsorship, this is totally independent. More photos to come in the next 3 days.
Green pieces from TSE47 on abandoned structures of an old military base in the countryside near Moscow. In winter the forest will turn white with the snow. I count on TSE47 to send us photos of the same places with snow.
2 new beautiful pieces from Pablo-S-Herrero in Salamanca (I have great sympathy for perfect circles) + Zap from Australia in Berlin + Ludvig + Wood in Uttrecht and CT in the peaceful city of Marseille.
I’ve been away from keyboards for 2 weeks, and the last days have been spent on working on an enhanced code for the photo gallery of the site. Last updates were actually scheduled 3 weeks ago. The new photo gallery is still very beta, but it works. It is much faster, you can order the photos chronologically or based on ratings, and the search function is much more efficient you can type several words for example. But there are still a lot to do (comments and ratings are not back, a lot design details must be fixed…) Anyway here are the 1st photos with the new system: Beautiful murals from Phlegm in Croatia, Ibiza & Warsaw + a piece on the theatre stage of an abandoned theatre in Sheffield.
